Homecoming week was the week of September 27 through October 2nd. There were all kinds of activities going on at the school including Crazy hair day, show your colors and the favorite hat day. We ended the week with a bonfire on Thursday evening with the Master of Ceremonies none other than George Washington. The students voted for Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam instead of king and queen. There was a tie for Uncle Sam held by Dustin Turner and Aaron Smith. Krystal Thatcher was voted Lady Liberty. We won our game against Red Rock school and then celebrated the victory with a masquerade dance on Saturday night.

CARNIVAL!!!
On April 30Th the PFA held the first annual school carnival. The games were all very fun and included favorites like: bingo, fish pond, ring toss, twister, duck pond and of course the CAKEWALK!! The money raised was going into our playground fund. It was a load of fun and helped raise about $3000 for the playground. Thank you everyone who helped make it a success!!!
Our Move!
Well-- we moved into our new building the last week of January. We had so many volunteers come in and help clean and paint. I hope everyone know we couldn't have done it without them!!! If anyone has any before and after pictures I would love to post them on the blog, so send them my way will ya!!

Canned food Drive
North Valley Academy students were given the opportunity to help provide food for those that are in need. Helping Hearts and Hands ask us to have a food drive with an emphasis on baby items. The students collected enough food and baby items that it filled the back bed of a pick-up truck. We are very proud of all the students of their selfless sacrifice. Here Kindergarten is celebrating their root beer float party!
